Low calorie Apple and Carrot Coleslaw in under 5 minutes- a weightwatcher’s dream

Health is extremely important and therefore salads feature very regularly on my menu. I love experimenting with high calorie dressings and always try to make them as healthy as possible.


I tried substituting the mayonnaise in this coleslaw with some Greek yoghurt, that’s chock-a-block full of protein- keeps you full and cuts the calories without compromising on the taste. This salad goes very well with burgers, roasts and just anything else!

Try it- I’m sure you’ll be hooked!


  • Apple-2
  • Carrots- 3, medium
  • Greek Yoghurt- 2 heaped tbsp
  • English mustard or any mustard of your choice- 1/4 tsp
  • Salt- 1 pinch
  • Pepper- to taste
  • Cranberries- 2 tsp, optional


Step 1

Grate the apples and carrots. Keep in a bowl.

Step 2

Whisk the yoghurt till smooth and add in the seasonings.

Step 3

Pour over salad. Mix well and serve
