Quick Courgette Fritters Recipe | How to make Courgette Fritters Bhaji

Zip, zap zoom.. before you know.. these are cooked and eaten!


  • Courgette/ Zucchini - 2
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Besan/ Chickpea flour - 3 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste


1. Grate 2 courgettes/ zucchini on the thick side of the grater.

2. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric. half tsp chilli powder, salt and 3 tbsp chickpea flour or besan.

3. The courgettes drain a lot of water after adding salt , so let it sit for about 20 minutes, till u get a kind of loose batter.

4. Heat oil in a flat pan. When hot, drop spoonfuls of batter and shallow fry.

And there you have it…  a very quick treat for the tastebuds.
