Pudina chutney- the Versatile Mint Chutney that goes with everything

An aromatic spicy dip made with fresh mint, coriander leaves and green chillies, this spicy chutney is extremely versatile. From being used to prepare sandwiches, as a dip for samosas or for adding flavour to chaats, this chutney brings life to any meal.


  • Coriander leaves + stalks- 1 cup
  • Mint leaves- 1/4 - 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies- 1
  • Garlic- 1 (optional)
  • Onion- 2 thin slices
  • Salt- to taste
  • Tamarind pulp- 1/4 tsp or Amchur ( Dry Mango powder)- 1/4 tsp or Lemon juice- 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp
  • Salt- to taste

Step 1

Wash the mint and coriander leaves.

Step 2

Pop everything into a blender and adding a little bit of water, grind everything to a smooth paste.

Step 3

The chutney can be refrigerated and even frozen.
