An aromatic spicy dip made with fresh mint, coriander leaves and green chillies, this spicy chutney is extremely versatile. From being used to prepare sandwiches, as a dip for samosas or for adding flavour to chaats, this chutney brings life to any meal.
Ingredients
- Coriander leaves + stalks- 1 cup
- Mint leaves- 1/4 - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies- 1
- Garlic- 1 (optional)
- Onion- 2 thin slices
- Salt- to taste
- Tamarind pulp- 1/4 tsp or Amchur ( Dry Mango powder)- 1/4 tsp or Lemon juice- 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp
- Salt- to taste
Method
Step 1
Wash the mint and coriander leaves.
Step 2
Pop everything into a blender and adding a little bit of water, grind everything to a smooth paste.
Step 3
The chutney can be refrigerated and even frozen.
