A cold glass of Lassi is the nicest way to beat summer and it gets even beter when you add to it the King of fruits- the Mango!
This recipe is one of my son’s favorites, always demanded when we eat out at an Indian place, but he assures me that nothing beats the homemade one
Try it!
Ingredients
- Yoghurt- 1 cup
- Mango pulp- 1 cup
- Sugar- 2 tsp (optional)
- Water- 1 cup
- Elaichi ( Cardamom powder) - 1 pinch (optional)
Method
Step 1
For this recipe you use either fresh mango or tinned pulp.
Step 2
Add all the ingredients except water into a blender. Pulse till smooth.
Step 3
Add only as much water as you would need. It depends on how thick the yoghurt is.
Step 4
Serve chilled!
The biggest attraction about this Lassi was this beautiful set of milk bottles and straws that I recently acquired from a lovely little online shop called U10sils. I really loved the little wooden tray that it come sin that gives it a really retro look.
U10sils has plenty of nifty gadgets that will bring a lot of joy to home cooks. Do check it out. You’ll be surprised by what you can find there.
Everything looks that little bit more special when you serve it in the right stuff.
Serve chilled.
Enjoy!
Yummy!
