Part of a traditional British meal, baked beans can make their appearance either at breakfast or at a meal.
Baked beans on toast is a very nutritious,quick and satisfying meal. Kids love it!
Ingredients
- Baked Beans- 1 tin
- Chilli powder (optional)
- Pepper (optional)
- Salt - optional
- Cheese- 11/2 cup grated
- 3-4 bread slices
Method
Step 1
Toast the bread.
Step 2
Cook the beans on the hob or microwave them according to the instructions.
Step 3
Spoon the hot beans directly onto the toasts in a thin layer, using as many toasts as it will cover, does maximum 3, by me. Sprinkle a pinch of pepper powder or salt if required.
Step 4
Grate cheese directly onto the toast.
Step 5
Serve hot! It is delicious.
For a more grown-up taste , add a pinch of chilli powder , while the beans are heating on the hob. It is beautiful!
