Topping’s Pies this Christmas!
What is Christmas without Pork pies and mulled wine? And when it comes to Pies, Topping’s Pies truly top the charts.
Winner of not 1 or 2 but 33 Gold Taste Awards, Topping’s Pies, a family run business in Yorkshire, excel at the art of pie making.
But did you know that this venture started small- in a butcher’s shop in 1961? Maggie’s Topping’s baking skills and unique recipe inspired by historical Victorian and Tudor times, made her pies so famous that now their pies are stocked by no less than Harrods and Selfridges.
I was glad to receive two of them- the Christmas Pie and the Pate & Cranberry Pork Pie to review.
I simply loved how they delivered it.

Seriously,even if you were out, this would easily keep for a few hours.
Impressed.

This is the Pate & Cranberry Pork Pie
This pie is a beautiful blend of the cranberry and pork. I love how the cranberries bring the pork alive- a mix of the sweet pork meat, the lovely chicken liver pate and the gorgeous cranberry sauce. It is divine.
and this is the gorgeous Christmas Pie
This pie has a layers of flavour- pork meat, chicken breast, apricots, cranberries and some more pork meat all sandwiched inside a lovely flaky pastry. Superb. It is indeed a splendid Christmas pie.
So this Christmas, do buy these pies. You could pick them up at Selfridges or Harrods if you’re passing around there or then simply shop online at their website- Topping’s Pies and try out some from their range of exquisite pies.
