I am a great fan of Olive oil. I love trying out olive oils with bread and keep buying different flavoured olive oil.

Recently I was sent a lovely bottle of Colline Molisane Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Sfoodle.com

So what is Sfoodle? Sfoodle-  slow food marketplace targets the  international community of wholesalers, food artisans and private buyers- connoisseurs of haute cuisine. Superb quality products like organic drinks, artisan cheese,  extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegar, bread, biscuits and tomato sauces can be be shipped and imported to any part of the world.

Here’s the olive oil they sent. It was superb.

Lovely and fragrant, the Colline Milisane is made from Larino, Leccino and Peranzana olives in Molise, that are handpicked in Southern Italy. Hand picking ensures high quality and the oil is obtained only by mechanical means.

It is a fruity extra virgin olive oil and it is perfect for condiments or used raw on salads and in Italian sauces.

I made a delightful Tabbouleh, a lovely fresh Turkish salad made with couscous, feta and plenty of greens. Of course, what brings it alive is a good quality olive oil, in my case the Colline Molisane Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
