Nutribullet- a shortcut to health
I have always been partial to fruit smoothies, it is an easy way to achieve your 5-a day, or 7-a day they are saying now.
So the newest addition to my kitchen gadgets, the funky little Nutribullet, that whizzes up a smoothie in no time, brings me immense pleasure.
This fantastic piece of equipment comes with 3 jars, 2 lids and 2 blades- one for extracting and one for milling!
The process itself is very simple.. Fill up to the max level indicated on the cup, ensure that you have put water or some other liquid, snap on the lid. Fix the cup on twist, and hey ho! The nutribullet spins away to make a gloriously smooth smoothie in seconds.
This small little machine has the power to break through seeds- flaxseeds, apple skins, spinach stems- it simply breaks everything down in seconds.
All you have to remember is not to let it run for more than a minute at a time.
I tried a few smoothies with it and boy, was I pleased!
Day 1 was the Apple and Banana Smoothie with Chocolate and Vanilla Icecream combination which worked a treat. No bits, absolutely smooth and creamy- no trace of bits of skin either which you could get if your blender isn’t very efficient- excellent smoothie, I’d say.
Day 2, it was quite an interesting combination Banana with Peanut butter & Vanilla Icecream Smotthie.
We enjoyed a wonderfully creamy and delicious smoothie with absolutely no bits, that was whizzed up in just about 30 seconds.
The smoothie was so delicious that the next day we made another!
This time the ingredients were really interesting! It was a Banana Smoothie with Peanut butter and Vanilla Icecream
As you can see for yourself, the smoothie is absolutely silky smooth, no bits from the peanut butter either and is ready in just 30 seconds.
Using the Nuribullet and cleaning it takes next to no time.
Now smoothies have become a favourite in my family, thanks to the Nutribullet.
