Amira Pure Basmati Rice

It is always a pleasure to cook good Basmati rice, that’s not a cheap long grained rice that’s been  passed off for Basmati, and one whose fragrance just fills the house while you’re cooking.

I was quite curious about this rice, therefore, and it turned out to be really good.

I made a very nice Pilaf with it- a Chicken and Chickpeas Pilaf, that my family and friends absolutely loved. 

The rice cooked beautifully and the Pilaf was delicious as well.

When cooked the grains were long, fragrant and stayed apart and didn’t stick together or break.

I’d say I rather like it.
