Scanpan CTX- a fabulous pan

Some of my friends are amused by my  busy kitchen. Something is always bubbling away on the hob. So, as you can imagine, I always have the need for good pans that can keep up with my cooking.

Recently, I have been sent a terrific pan from SCANPAN. SCANPAN are one of the world’s leading producers of non-stick products and have for more than five decades produced high quality long-lasting cookware at their factory near Aarhus, Denmark

The SCANPAN IQ range has a ceramic Titanium non-stick surface that enables use of even non-stick spatulas. Also, these versatile sturdy pans can be used on any hob types- that in my eyes is a big plus.

The sturdy handle is strong, does not get hot all.

I really love the sturdy lid that lets you cook in less oil and saves both time and energy as well as loss of valuable nutrients.

The pan has a fantastic non-stick base and can be used for making pancakes, sauce, curries- you name it!

Remember not to turn the heat on too high or use any aerosol sprays- they could ruin the non stick coating. As always, wash with warm water before the first use.

The pans are not the cheapest, but remember that quality comes at a cost- and this will be an amount well spent, because it will last you for years and years to come in your kitchen. I bet you will itch to change all the pans to SCANPAN .
