Proteinworks- Protein Brownies and Nutties
So what do most people on the run to to cope with hunger pangs? Protein bars or a handful of nuts is the perfect answer.
Now I have gone through many many protein bars, believe me, in my quest for the perfect tasting protein bar, but I find that the most healthy ones are the most unpalatable. They leave a heavy metallic aftertaste in your mouth and the much nicer tasting ones have much more sugar so they are not really so nice either.
So when I was sent these lovely brownies and nutties from Proteinworks, I was really happy. I thought maybe this is the answer to my endless quest.

And I wasn’t disappointed.
For one, the box is strong well packaged and filled to the brim with 22 separately packaged bars. That is perfect. Easy to carry.

And just check out what the stuff is like:

These are the Belgian Chocolate Protein Brownie- Each brownie weighs 40gm and has 112 calories. It is delicious and does satisfy your cravings for baked treats. It does not have a strong protein after taste that most brownies have. It is nice and chocolaty, and definitely satisfies hunger cravings keeping you full for longer. The brownie is high in fibre and low in sugar and is made from a unique tri-blend protein formulation by ProteinWorks. I really like this one for my after workouts sessions. Keeps you going. Perfect even for mid morning and in between snacks- no time for lunch? Grab it! At £17.99 for 22 brownies. you couldn’t go wrong. Currently they also have a winter sale so you could get these for just £12.99. Now that’s a steal!

and the Chocolate Hazelnut Protein nutties– The delicious little delights are made with 100% natural nut butters and whey protein. Fabulously chocolaty and so delightfully nutty these are my most favorite Protein product.
The Belgian chocolate flavour makes you feel as if you were biting into one of the most expensive chocolates and completely make you forget that you are eating a protein rich food. You would not believe me if I told you that these were made out of Organic Virgin Coconut oil. I have eaten quite a few products made from coconut oil and you can tell. These ones are just fab. Also, they are high in Zinc, iron and copper which will help the immune system and have plenty of B vitamins too.
But believe me, you will forget all these numbers and details when you are floating in a nutty chocolate heaven- so a word of advice- try and stop at ONE if you can- or then just two. They are filling, they are superb but they have 160 kcal each. These sell at £14.99 for 15 (30gm) nutties and in the Winter sale, you can grab them at £10.99.
Have you heard of Proteinworks? They’ve done a really good job of creating a huge variety of healthy snacks and Whey protein- perfect to fuel our day. I’d recommend you try them.
You can thank me later.
And when you go to work, you can pack a couple of these in your bag, like I do. Get them at www.theproteinworks.com/
