There are Apple pies and there are apple pies and then, there’s Erlenbacher<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That’s what came to my mind, when I sampled the delicious Erlenbacher’s Preemium apple pie today.<\/p>\n

This morning when\u00a0the delivery guy came and handed\u00a0me some Apple pie, I was very curious.\u00a0Of course, I didn’t have the heart to eat it all by myself, so I waited eagerly, for evening, to enjoy it with the rest of my family.<\/p>\n

It certainly looked scrumptious.<\/p>\n

A huge big slice of Apple pie to dig into. Topped with apples slices and almonds slivers, and apples all the way through, with some raisins tossed in and shortcrust pastry at the bottom.<\/p>\n

But the taste was equally great.\u00a0Layer after layer of sweet, tangy \u00a0apple intermigled with the sweetness of raisins, and thick shortcrust pastry at the end.<\/p>\n

I truly loved the pie. It is not one of those overly spiced, sickeningly sweet apple pies that are bought \/ baked.\u00a0This apple pie is different- perfect for a more grown up, more refined taste. I’m not sure if kids would kill for this pie, mine certainly wanted some custard to go with it, said it wasn’t very sweet, but that is exactly what I liked about it.<\/p>\n

Not overly sweet, you could still get the bite from the apple, and there was lots of it, which\u00a0surprisingly was firm\u00a0but perfectly\u00a0cooked, and hadn’t turned to mush, and was juicy and tangy one after the other? Its taste still lingers in my mouth after an hour, I loved it so much.<\/p>\n
