I was sent some tea- <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teafields.co.uk\/shop\/4563792070\/silver-rose-white-tea\/8535628\">Silver Rose White tea<\/a> it was called. White tea sounded intriguing and so were the roses. Don&#8217;t get me wrong, it was strong but not overpowering. And the mix seemed to have quite some roses.. the tea leaves silvery green and much fewer. Having tried several of Teafields teas previously, I was sure that this tea would be good, but hoped that the roses would not be too strong.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4524\" src=\"http:\/\/vaish.sengupta.net\/of-cloves-and-capers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/20140918-P1090409-575x352.jpg\" alt=\"20140918-P1090409\" width=\"575\" height=\"352\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vaish.sengupta.net\/of-cloves-and-capers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/20140918-P1090409-575x352.jpg 575w, https:\/\/vaish.sengupta.net\/of-cloves-and-capers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/20140918-P1090409.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So as recommended, I used half a teaspoon\u00a0of the tea per cup and steeped it in boiling water for about<span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a04\u00a0minutes. And I was simply blown away by the beauty of the tea&#8230; a light light green.<\/span> <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4526\" src=\"http:\/\/vaish.sengupta.net\/of-cloves-and-capers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/20140918-P1090421-575x401.jpg\" alt=\"20140918-P1090421\" width=\"575\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vaish.sengupta.net\/of-cloves-and-capers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/20140918-P1090421-575x401.jpg 575w, https:\/\/vaish.sengupta.net\/of-cloves-and-capers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/20140918-P1090421.jpg 899w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is indeed the champagne of teas, a delicate white tea blending with the mild mild hint of rose. Light, refreshing and delicate. Both flavours blending beautifully, \u00a0complementing each other. Really truly special.
