That little thing peeking out from under my chicken pie- that is the strength of the trivet- it does support the heavy pie dish that has been cooking at 250C for 1 1 /2 hours – so it was really really hot and very very heavy.
The cutest thing about this trivet is its little feet. Tiny little feet on the underside that keep the trivet slightly raised from the surface of the table, while being properly balanced at the same time.
